Electrolade replaced the fluids and the minerals lost in Diarrhoea.
Electrolade solution is both clear and colourless and should be drunk fresh.
Unused solution should either be discarded or covered and put in the refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours only.
After this time excess solution should be thrown away.
Ensure that the correct amount of water is added.
Do not add extra sugar or salt.
Diabetics should note the sugar content.
Each sachets contains:- Sodium Chloride 236mg- Potassium Chloride 300mg- Sodium Bicarbonate 500mg - Dextrose Anhydrous 4g.
Add contents of one sachets to 200ml, fresh, clean, drinking water.Stir to dissolve.For infants under 2 years - Consult your doctor as soon as possible if the diarrhoea is severe. For more information please read the leaflet.Children : 200ml (one sachet) of reconstituted Electrolade should be drunk after each loose motion.Up to 12 sachets may be used in 24 hours.Adults : 200 to 400ml ( one to two sachets) of reconstituted Electrolade should be drunk after each loose motion.Up to 16 sachets may be used in 24 hours.
