Ah chocolate biscuits - nothing better. The whole-grain flours of rye and barley add goodness, texture and fibre. Flaxseed is a superfood that we are loving at the moment, with lots of nutrients for growing bodies. Organic raw cacao has more flavour and nutrients than your mainstream powders, making these a good option as a treat with goodness!
We have cut down the sugar in this recipe and used unrefined light muscavado which has a lovely depth of flavour.
Very easy to make, just add an egg white, butter (or non-dairy alternative) and honey or golden syrup. We recommend using honey or Sweet Freedom, a natural sweetener made from fruits and carob.
