Optibac Probiotics For Those on Antibiotics

Each capsule provides 2billion live probiotic cultures - daily dosage, 4 billion (2 capsules)

Maltodextrin, gelatin, Probiotic culture 'Lacidofil' (Lactobacillus rhamnosus Rosell-11, and Lactobacillus acidophilus Rosell-52), magnesium stearate, ascorbic acid.

We guarantee 2 billion live probiotic micro-organisms per capsule until the best before date.

Daily dosage: 4 billion.

For those on antibiotics can be given to adults and children (from 4 years upwards) with the following recommendations:-

- Take two capsules daily with food, preferably breakfast, until antibiotics course is finished and preferably one week after, or as professionally directed.

- Take probiotics separately from ingestion of antibiotics (at least one hour after antibiotics).

- Continue taking OptiBac Probiotics For those on antibiotics until 20 capsule pack is completed, and add a second pack if the antibiotic treatment lasts more than one week.
- For young children or any patient unable to swallow capsules, the content of the capsules can be mixed with a cold meal or beverage.

Safety
It is not recommended to give probiotics to severely immunosuppressed patients, infants with short bowel syndrome (SBS), post cardiac surgery patients, patients with pancreatitis, patients with Type 1 diabetes, patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or patients with blood in the stool unless under a doctor's care.
