Gaviscon Infant mixes with and stabilises the stomach contents so preventing reflux and regurgitation.
Gaviscon infant is sugar free.
To be taken after each meal.
Not to be used in premature infants or infants under one year except under medical supervision.
Sodium alginate 225mg,
Magnesium alginate 87.5mg
Breast-fed infants:
under 10lbs/4.5kg - 1 dose,
over 10lbs/4.5kg - 2 doses mixed with water to a smooth paste
Bottle-fed infants:
under 10lbs/4.5kg - 1 dose mixed with not less than 115ml of feed,
over 10lbs/4.5kg - 2 doses mixed with not less than 225ml of feed
Young children:
2 doses prepared as for breast-fed infants
To be taken after each meal
Not to be used in infants under 1 year of age, except under medical supervision
