Vitamin E is a general term set for tocopherols. Vitamin E is a fat soluble and is a very effective antioxidant. Vitamin E protects cell walls and membranes including those in blood vessels from oxidation. Natural sources of Vitamin E include Avocado, Eggs, Milk, Palm Oil, Almonds and Wholegrain foods.

Vitamin E is recognised as a biological antioxidant and is beneficial for the health of the heart, blood vessels, skin and is also said to help prevent anaemia as it stops the oxidative damage to red blood cells.
